New card revealed for The Witchwood, Hearthstone’s latest expansion!

  1. Earlier today, Hearthstone Game Designer Peter Whalen and Dan “Frodan” Chou kicked off card reveals for The Witchwood, the upcoming Hearthstone expansion.

    Ten new cards were unveiled on the livestream, including two Legendary cards: The Witchwood’s single Hero Card, which is exclusive to Shaman – Hagatha the Witch – and the Warlock minion Glinda Crowskin.

    It’s the beginning of our Year of the Raven celebration! To celebrate the coming Hearthstone New Year, every daily quest a player completes will award a random card pack from Journey to Un’Goro, Knights of the Frozen Throne, Kobolds & Catacombs, and even The Witchwood.

    What is The Witchwood?
    Darkness lurks within The Witchwood, the upcoming expansion for Blizzard Entertainment’s smash-hit digital card game Hearthstone. Soon, players will join Gilneas’ most cunning and courageous heroes as they venture into the haunted forest to hunt down monsters and outwit witches to claim their bounty in the form of 135 hair-raising cards, complete with some uncanny new gameplay mechanics.

    Players can pre-purchase The Witchwood card packs in a 50-pack bundle for a special one-time price of $49.99 and receive 20 bonus card packs alongside the In A Dark Wood card back to use right away before the set releases in mid-April.
