Overwatch New Hero Brigitte Now Live on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One!

The daughter of weapons designer, Torbjörn Lindholm, Brigitte is the newest hero to join the Overwatch team. Specializing in armor and defense, she can throw Repair Packs to heal teammates, or automatically heal nearby allies when she damages foes with her Flail. Her Flail is capable of a wide swing to strike multiple targets, or a Whip Shot that stuns an enemy at range. When entering the fray, Barrier Shield provides personal defense while she attacks enemies with Shield Bash. Brigitte’s ultimate ability, Rally, gives her a substantial short-term boost of speed and provides long-lasting armor to all her nearby allies.

Abilities
Rocket Flail
Brigitte’s melee weapon has an extended range, enabling her to strike multiple enemies with a single swing.

Repair Pack
Brigitte throws a Repair Pack that can heal an ally. Any healing over that ally’s maximum health provides them with armor instead.

Whip Shot
Brigitte throws her flail a long distance, dealing damage and knocking an enemy away from her.

Barrier Shield
Brigitte deploys a frontal energy barrier to absorb a limited amount of damage.

Shield Bash
Once her Barrier Shield is deployed, Brigitte can dash forward to stun an enemy.

Rally
Brigitte moves faster and provides all nearby allies with armor that lasts until it’s removed by damage.

Hero Showcase – Call To Arms Invitational
To showcase what Brigitte can do in the hands of skilled players, we have invited Overwatch competitive teams from around South-East Asia to pit their best Brigitte team compositions against each other! Come watch as 6 teams from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines face off in this invitational tournament which will be streamed live on 24 March 2018 from 1 - 4pm over at www.twitch.tv/afiz

Community Challenge
We are challenging our players to try Brigitte out and win themselves some Overwatch swag in the process! From 22 March to 1 April 2018, three challenges will be issued and players need only send in their screenshot of their achievements for the following categories: Healing Done, Damage Blocked and Games Won. A total of USD150 worth of Overwatch swag will be given away to the top three highest scorers in each category. More details will be announced at a later date.
