Last week, PUBG Corp - a subsidiary of publisher Bluehole filed a lawsuit against NetEase for having infringed PUBG's copyright through two games, Rules of Survival and Knives Out. In this announcement, NetEase claimed that its two games are welcomed by a large number of gamers and has "new ideas and features." NetEase also said that after the success of two games, many studios began to "copy" NetEase’s ideas to use for their products. NetEase declared that it would use all legal actions to protect the "original idea" of Rules of Survival and Knives Out.
