World of Tennis: Roaring ’20s invites players to revisit the 1920s—a decade when movies, music, and culture in general underwent massive change. Period-accurate music and clothes set the tone as you create a character and play a quick game to learn the ropes. You’ll notice that the game’s unique AI system is “paying attention”—seamlessly learning how you play. Eventually, your character/avatar will be able to join multiplayer matches as yourself against other players—allowing everyone to enjoy ever more realistic PvP-like tennis matches.

Outsmart your opponent with well-placed shots by tapping or swiping across the screen to aim and hit the ball—then tap the screen to position your player. That’s it!

“The AI technology we developed for World of Tennis: Roaring ’20s learns from human players and can actually mimic the way they play,” says Iskander Umarov, game director and co-founder of Helium9 Games. “In the real world, tennis players pay a lot of attention to footwork and placing the perfect shot. Knowing this, we decided to use realistic motion capture and dozens of animation sequences to make the game even more immersive.”
