Fortnite will be available on Android but cannot be downloaded from Google Play

It was some months since Fortnite announced to be available on Mobile, there’s no info about that Android version. The promise of this version after iOS version goes farther, causing gamers gradually give up. However, recently the gaming community has accidentally discovered the data related to the Android version from Epic Games.

Specifically, from the images which are being explored by Xda-developers.com on the Fortnite website, Mobile version seems to direct gamers to download the game from here. This means Fortnite Mobile will not be downloaded from Google Play, which is an obscure action from Epic Games.

Even on its website, Epic Games said: "This is necessary to install any app outside of the Play Store." Many gamers are wonderding why Epic Games had to do that. Is this related to the delay of Android version?

Some believe that not going through Google Play will make Fortnite Mobile's security affected. Others claim that Epic Games does not want to share 30% of its revenue with Google, which is also a understandable thing when Fortnite is the name making most money in the game market. Of course this is just speculation and the most important thing is that gamers have to wait a long time for Android version.
