PUBG – The arrest of 141 hackers in China

PUBG as well as PUBG Mobile now has to face up with Hack / Cheat problem, largely due to the popularity of Battle Royale genre. However, despite being the target of hackers, developers are still struggling to keep the gaming community clean. Not only that, the gunfire-free battle is receiving support from the authorities, especially in Korea and China.

In China, which is considered the cradle of hacker, police forces are trying to crack down on hackers and Hack/Cheat trafficking line in PUBG. That’s why in April, this country has summoned more than 200 polices to arrest 141 suspects involved in Hack/Cheat (including 15 people who have recently been arrested). At suspects’ house, police has seized more than 200 computers and mobile phones, not to mention 20000 different Hack/Cheat software including Aim Bot, Wall-View, Acceleration, etc.

These Hack software has also been confirmed by PUBG Corp included the Trojan viruses with the aim of stealing users’ information from their personal computers. Therefore those who purchased the Hack/Cheat software would have become the prey of the hacker to do bad behavior.
